Unlike Others, We Never Outsource.

NLR’s proprietary, in-house lamp recycling technology is built to process all lamp types—whole or pre-crushed, any size or shape. Our system efficiently separates materials into glass, aluminum, plastic, and mercury-bearing phosphate powder for responsible downstream recycling. We accept and recycle all linear fluorescent tubes, including 2ft, 4ft, and 8ft varieties.

Lamps are separated into glass, metal, and phosphate powder so materials can be reused instead of landfilled.

Crushed lamps can release mercury vapor—always recycle properly to protect health and the environment.

Recycling just one lamp keeps enough mercury out of the environment to contaminate up to 6,000 gallons of water.

Fluorescent lamps contain mercury—recycling them helps keep toxic metals from contaminating the air, water, and soil.

Some modern LEDs still contain hazardous components—so even non-mercury lamps should be recycled.

We accept linear fluorescent lamps (4' and 8'), CFLs, HIDs, HPS, U-shaped, Circleline, Biax, ultraviolet, and germicidal lamps—all mercury-containing varieties. Non-mercury lamps such as LEDs, incandescents, halogens, and PAR floods are also accepted.
